He was born in 1965 in New York City, into a Puerto Rican family. At the age of 3 we returned to Puerto Rico where I completed my elementary and higher studies. I converted to the Lord at the age of 18. In 1984 and then in 1989 I began to pastor at the Church of God of Prophecy in Juncos, P.R. where I was for a year. Then I served as pastor of the church of Caguas in 1997 and the following year I was transferred to the Church of Monacillos, Rio Piedras where I was until the present. Responding to God’s call to prepare more effectively for the ministry, he entered the Theological University of the Caribbean where he completed a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Biblical Interpretation. Then he completed a Master of Arts in Religion at the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico. In 2016, he was ordained Bishop in the International Assembly of the Church of God of Prophecy. In 2019 he completed the degree of Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in Practical Pastoral Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Married for 36 years to Rosa María Villegas Acevedo and we have two children, Fernando Jr. and José David.

Nació en el año 1965 en la ciudad de New York, en el seno de una familia Puertorriqueña. A la edad de 3 años regresamos a Puerto Rico donde realicé mis estudios elementales y superiores. Me converti al Señor a la edad de 18 anos En el año 1984 y luego en el ano 1989 comencé a pastorear en la Iglesia de Dios de la Profecía en Juncos, P.R. donde estuve por un año. Luego ejercí el pastorado de la iglesia de Caguas en el 1997 y al año siguiente fui trasladado a la Iglesia de Monacillos, Rio Piedras donde me encontraba hasta el presente. Respondiendo al llamado de Dios, de prepararse más efectivamente para el ministerio, ingresó a la Universidad Teológica del Caribe donde realicé un Bachillerato en artes con concentración en Interpretación Bíblica. Luego realizo una Maestría en Artes de Religión en el Seminario Evangélico de Puerto Rico. En el año 2016, fue ordenado Obispo en la Asamblea Internacional de la Iglesia de Dios de la Profecía. En el 2019 completo el grado de Doctor en Ministerio con concentración en Teología Pastoral Práctica del Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Casado hace 36 años con Rosa María Villegas Acevedo y tenemos dos hijos, Fernando Jr. y José David.
