Prayer for Iowa and especially for Cedar Rapids!
August 10, 2020 a tremendously strong tornado type winds called “derecho” which means straight way, came through Iowa and brought much destruction with it. Our churches in Iowa as I called each pastor were seemingly ok, with the exception of our Cedar Rapids COGOP. Pastor Jeff Bell informed me of the devastation that occurred there at the church edifice, the parsonage and his personal home. Their cars were impacted as well. Please pray for Dear Rapids Iowa, and our church community. I have attached some pictures of the destruction. All contractors and materials are exhausted and we have called for out of state help to remedy the damage created by “derecho”,
